If the challenger wins he takes the step just ahead of the challenged person. If he draws he takes the rung just below the challenged person. It he loses there will be no change in the ladder.The challenger has the right to chose the colours  and can select the time controls (either 45/45 or 60/30).Games are to be arranged by the competitors at a mutually agreeable time. We are setting no hard rules about this and expect all to act in the gentlemanly manner typical of a Slowtimer member.If you join the ladder you should commit to playing at least one game per month. If you do not meet or issue a challenge within a two month period you will be moved three steps down the ladder. To Join: Contact Reijo or MaxII by an ICC message and you will be placed in the ladder. If you do you will be placed 3 steps beneath the player in the ladder who has the rating just under yourself. Although you cannot be placed above an active player who has a higher rating than you.
